" Off the Hinges " Celebrating Town of Ajax    -     50 Years

This door was painted for my husband Klaus.  He is a Cichlid hobbiest and thought it would be a great idea to have this door done for his fish room.

The door paintings were in celebration of the town's 50th anniversary.  There were a number of artists participating in the "Off the Hinges" project  along with one painted by the Members of Ajax Creative Arts.  These doors were displayed at the Ajax Town Hall Atrium   and  also on display at Artfest on the Esplanade in Pickering and then finally auctioned off to promote the arts .

The winning bid was made by Brian Skinner, Chief Admin. Officer for the Town of Ajax
